Healing Craft Student Clinic - 2019
Healing Craft Student Clinic:
Supervised, student lead clinic days offer a sacred space for you to practice your Healing Craft and build confidence in your altar. These clinics will offer multiple opportunities to meet with clients, develop a treatment plan and implement your Healing Craft while under supervision. Student clinicians are free to bring their own clients, if you are in need of a client please reach out in advance. Support will be provided by current 1st and 2nd year students.
2019 Clinic Details
Costs: Donations will go towards the operational and maintenance costs of the Teaching Temple, with 10% of donations going to Real Rent Duwamish.
Dates: Clinic will predominantly be held every 3rd Sunday from 9:30am - 6pm and divided into two shifts:
Morning Shift: 9:30am - 1:30pm
Students will have 30 minutes to arrive and set up their altars, clients will arrive at 10am for the morning shift and be scheduled on the hour. Each Client Session will begin on the hour mark and conclude at the 45 minute mark, leaving a 15 minute buffer for supervision and follow up planning. There will be an opportunity for student practitioners to see 3 clients per shift.
Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm - 6:30pm
Students will have 30 minutes to arrive and set up their altars, clients will arrive at 3pm for the afternoon shift and be scheduled on the hour. Each Client Session will begin on the hour mark and conclude at the 45 minute mark, leaving a 15 minute buffer for supervision and follow up planning. There will be an opportunity for student practitioners to see 3 clients per shift.
FOR CLIENTS
Please arrive on time for your appointment, check in on the apothecary side and offer your donation for your session. Your student practitioner to come get you when they are ready to begin. Your session will last aprox 45 minutes, leaving 15 minutes for supervisory input from instructors and follow up instructions.
At the end of your session, you will be assisted to the apothecary to purchase any ritual or herbal aftercare that is recommended by the practitioner. Please be sure to get your practitioner contact information. Note, because of our space limitations your session may take place in the temple space. This means that there may be two sessions happening in this space. Because all sessions will begin and end at the same time, there should not be much movement through that space except by the TA and Instructor.
Preparation: Please bring your inquiries and intentions for the work to your session. We will not be collecting intake forms prior to the session, but your practitioner will ask you questions during your session. They may take notes to help track the session, you are also welcome to take notes during your work. Any notes collected by the practitioner will be confidential, your contact info will not be included.
Because this is a student clinic, we will be reviewing key aspects of your session in a group case study. Be advised that scheduling a session at this clinic means that you are aware of and consent to this.

FOR STUDENT PRACTITIONERS
Please arrive on time for the start of your shift, 30 minutes before the first scheduled client. You will have this time to set up your altar, prep your space, and review any relevant materials. Student practitioners will have the opportunity to facilitate 3 one hour sessions (You can see up to 3 clients per block.) We will spend the remaining 30 minutes on collective out take and Q&A.

- Clients: Sessions may include energy clearing, divination/intuitive reading, spiritual guidance, guidance around custom ritual/spell work, crafting custom spells/rituals, herbal recommendations, and other delights specific to the student practitioner. - Client Costs: All clinics will be on a donation basis; recommended sliding scale of $0-$125 per session (no one turned away for lack of funds.)
- Student Practitioner Cost: All clinic supervision will be offered on a donation basis; recommended sliding scale of $0 - $75 per clinic shift (no one turned away for lack of funds.)
